Foiled

Almost Christmas!  My last post was before summer!  Man, I forgot about this whole site.  When will we all forget about MySpace, then Facebook?  Only when the next big thing comes along.

Maybe I should make "the next big thing" and then sell it off to some large company.  Sounds easy enough...

It's Been Awhile

Whenever someone says "It's Been Awhile", everyone automatically thinks of this song... so I was listening to it and titled my post this... and how fitting, because it has been a while since I posted.

Went to a friend's wedding, now I'm pumped for mine.  For those of you who may not know, it's September 30th!  Man, I cannot wait.  4 months!  Woohoo!

Madman, or God in the flesh?

"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really
foolish thing that people often say about Him: 'I'm
ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I
don't accept His claim to be God.' That is the one
thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and
said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great
moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic ... or else
he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice.
Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a
madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool,
you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can
fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not
come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great
human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did
not intend to."

What I Believe
By Squad Five-O

Well, it's another Friday.  Cannot wait until football on Sunday!  Even though Indy lost, which apparently was everyone's favorite (and by favorite I don't mean the person they thought would win, but actually wanted to win).  I can see that, it was a good story.  Especially would have been nice for Dungy.

But alas, here we are with Pittsburgh, Denver, Seattle and Carolina.  Well, I'm personally pulling for a Seattle/Pittsburgh super bowl.  I think it will be good, but I'm afraid I'll have to pull for Pittsburgh.  Jerome Bettis is the new feel-good story for the Super Bowl.

But we all know that the Super Bowl is just a lead-in to the real sport phenomenon that is getting ready to get into gear, literally.  That's right, the Datyona 500 is coming up.  And in case you can't wait for the 500, there is the Bud Shootout on Saturday, February 11th!  I can't wait!
